Sometimes time is standing still… or just flowing

New small Lines Pieces

I have made three new Lines paintings on 30 mm birch plywood. Each 14 x 10 cm and with the sides cut at 15 degree angles. Lines No. 18, 19 and 20.

I have been working on several small paintings. This is one of them. 14 x 10 x 3 cm. The girl without the pearl earring. Oil and varnish on birch plywood.

Trying some new stuff… sort of

A layer of varnish. Red. Work on faces, arms and hands. Very hard to decide how detailed I want it. How accurate…

Only blue

I have challenged myself by doing this painting with only blue colors and white. Based on a photo taken of my grandparents about 100 years ago. The piece is 133 x 60 cm.

Consequences

Imagine if we could see the long term consequences of decisions we make today…?
