Sometimes time is standing still… or just flowing
Hours went by and I did not notice. 88 x 160 cm. Work in progress.

I have made three new Lines paintings on 30 mm birch plywood. Each 14 x 10 cm and with the sides cut at 15 degree angles. Lines No. 18, 19 and 20.
I have been working on several small paintings. This is one of them. 14 x 10 x 3 cm. The girl without the pearl earring. Oil and varnish on birch plywood.
A layer of varnish. Red. Work on faces, arms and hands. Very hard to decide how detailed I want it. How accurate…
I have challenged myself by doing this painting with only blue colors and white. Based on a photo taken of my grandparents about 100 years ago. The piece is 133 x 60 cm.
Imagine if we could see the long term consequences of decisions we make today…?
Minor changes for the better I think. I will soon show why I am making this weird painting.
In between staying at Zolo Gallery I am painting. The painting as it looked yesterday.
And as it looks tonight. Maybe too detailed? Needs to be softened up?
The New Mexico & Four Corners show is so nice. Hope the Christmas stressed Swedes will appreciate it!
Tomorrow evening. The first show at Zolo Gallery opens… more pictures later…
