Not my cup of tea

I am not doing more work on this piece. I can’t motivate myself to do more. Ok, it is fun in a way, but I did not really enjoy working on it. Maybe it is subconsciously a piece commenting the sad policy of separating children from their parents?

Strange experiment

I am currently working on a piece that is strange. I don’t feel convinced about this project, but have to try it out.

Transparent Personality

The new sculpture came out perfect! I am very pleased with the result and set it up outside our entrance to enjoy it until the client picks it up. The sizes are:
Sculpture: 120 x 50 x 30 cm with the concrete base
Stand: 80 x 50 x 30 cm, plywood painted black

Concrete work

During the Easter studio tour I sold a piece that had not been completed, so I just finished it last week. A steel piece in a concrete base on a wooden stand. This is how it looks now. The buyer is coming to pick it up later so I may set it up outside, but the piece is heavy (at least 60 kg) so I may need some help.

Finally…

It has been a long time and the surprise was not a surprise, because I had posted the early stages of the painting of my mom. Well, she got it the other day and both she and my dad were very happy and pleased with the portrait! I manufactured and gilded my own frame too.
