Amazing snow and scenery in Wolf Creek, Colorado

Two great skiing days in Wolf Creek and one more tomorrow. A small ski resort with only six lifts but a lot of great skiing, few people, high altitude and crisp snow. We have been skiing with the ski patrol… testing new skis and having the best of times.ski3In the safe company of the great Wolf Creek Ski Patrol.

ski4Blue skies, plenty of snow, hardly any people, great trees to ski among. Wow!

ski5At the end of the day the smile was about three times as big. I am coming back soon, I hope. Miss my kids!

Fabulous skiing in Santa Fe

John from Seattle and I had a marvelous sunny day with fresh snow in Santa Fe, carving buttery slopes and cruising among the trees. Tough at this altitude, though: pictures taken at almost 4000 m above sea level! The parking area at the base station is the third highest in the USA!ski1ski2

Small pieces

I am working on some small pieces also. These are for my big summer exhibition in Sweden.mni1

A contrasting outlook

This is how it looks now. The paint has to dry while I am working on other stuff and considering the next step.pai2

Shepard Fairey at Santa Fe University of Art and Design

Sunday night I attended a lecture/interview with Shepard Fairey at the Santa Fe University of Art and Design. Many words. I don’t know what I learned that was new, other than that Shepard has many opinions (his own words) and uses his art to influence change in society. I have always wondered what I am trying to say with my own art and maybe that evening helped me see that I am venturing into the unknown, into the inner depths of human beings.
While in Santa Fe, Shepard and his assistants did a mural.shepfsf

When using the grain of the plywood I pretty much get one chance only…1side2

Very thin skin

I have been at it again, in between a lot of other stuff! Very active in the studio – preparations for the tiny exhibition at One Window Gallery in Malmö tomorrow. And a lot more! Wonderful to be painting again.4side2
