Going back to an old favorite
Many artists have kept going back to the same image, doing different versions. I love this image and am working on a piece that is 48 x 48 cm or 19 by 19 inches. This is a work in process.
A different work in progress
I have been working with this piece for a while. It may look plain and simple, but the blue is several layers of Ultramarine Blue with a bit of white. The size is 48 x 48 cm, the piece is not finished and I have not come up with a title yet. Oil on birch plywood.
The pharmacist in a different way
I have painted my great grandfather, the “pharmacist”, several times, but never as a young boy. This piece is 25 x 90 cm, oil on plywood.
Two new still life pieces
Two more in my series of still life paintings. Don’t what to call these yet.
A little side project
A break from the still life paintings, it was fun doing this. 48 x 48 cm, oil on birch plywood. Don’t know what to call it… maybe Did I Marry the Right One?
The Woman from where East meets West
This one is finished. Improved gilding on the horses and some touch up and a thin frame, 28 x 93,5 cm.
